Stratacore is one of the leading IT Advisors and Brokers in the industry and we are looking for an experienced IT technical resource to join us as a Solutions engineer. In that role, you will work with our Client Advocates and Customers to develop, plan, design, and execute complex technology solutions in Network, Co-Location, Cloud and Security to meet their growing technological needs. The solutions engineer role is salary plus individual MBO and company bonus. This role reports to the VP of Strategy and Sourcing.


This job requires you to be living and working in El Salvador, Nicaragua or Guatemala. 


Responsibilities


  • Work in close collaboration with the sales, marketing, partners and design teams to fully grasp Clients' urgencies and needs
  • Work with sales teams and provider SME’s to design, develop complex IT Solutions for our clients
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including timeline and scope of the work involved for successful completion of the engagement
  • Stay current on advanced technologies and best practices in the field to enhance or enable the trusted advisor position with our customers.
  • Keeping current on and a conduit for new advanced technology trends, products, solutions and new providers.


What we look for in a candidate


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or software engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Network, Security, Cloud and Data Center technology
  • Working knowledge of digital transformation strategies
  • Two years previous work experience as a solution or Sales Engineer
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Systems thinker with strong business acumen
  • Strong leadership, self-motivated, team player who can operate independently
  • Previous working experience in the channel is desired but not required
  • Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, Visio or design software experience
